Requirements
To qualify for these trucking jobs, you must possess a CDL A and have your own Sleeper truck or Day-cab (no hotshots or company driver positions are available). Additionally, you need to be able to purchase your own tags (Truck Registration / IRP). Applicants must be 23 years of age or older and have 2 years of verifiable experience for the lanes you wish to run. Please note that there is no local freight and SAP drivers will not be considered.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
EM Way does not have: Local Freight; company trucks; Lease Purchase Options. For those meeting the CDL A requirements, we provide a clear overview of fixed operating costs. Deductions include $76 per day, which covers all insurances, ELD, and load boards, excluding bobtail and physical damage insurance. Fuel purchases and cash advances taken on the card are also part of your expenses.
Optional deductions for owner operators include physical damage and bobtail insurance based on the value of the truck, ensuring coverage in case of any damage. Additionally, Pre-Pass tolls are charged during the second week of each month. For those considering trucking jobs that require trailers, the daily rental costs are $31 for a van, $70 for a reefer, $41 for a flatbed, and $51 for a step.
A security deposit of $2,500 is required, which will be deducted daily until fully paid. EM Way supports your repairs with up to 50% of the current balance in your security deposit to help keep you moving.
